We will hold a costume contest both days of the Fair at the Main Stage.

Saturday's Contest will take place at 4:15 pm, Sunday's Contest will take place at 1:45 pm.

 

There will be 4 age groups for the costume contest each day:

Youngling: 1-4

Child: 5-12

Teen: 13-17

Adult: 18+

Costume guidelines for ALL AGES:

• Edge of Spring Fantasy Fair is a family-focused event; all costumes must be appropriate for children of all ages.
• Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, suggestive, objectionable, obscene, or violent.
• Costumes may not contain any props or accessories that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
• No sharp or pointed objects or materials that could injure other guests.
• All patrons must wear shoes.
• If a patron is spotted in a costume that is not deemed appropriate, they will be asked to either remove the costume and change into something more appropriate or exit the fairgrounds.
• Stang Productions, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse admission to any patron with a costume that it deems is inappropriate or does not conform to these guidelines.

Those wishing to enter the contest will need to check in to have their photo taken near the main stage no later than one hour prior to that day’s contest (check in between 1:45 and 3:15 pm Saturday, and 11:00 am and 12:45 pm Sunday), and return to the stage area before the contest begins, in case they are one of the finalists.

Fair patrons can vote on their favorite in each category up to 15 minutes before the contests begin. Voting will end at 4:00 pm Saturday and 1:30 pm Sunday.

The top 4 from each age group, as judged by fellow patrons, will be called on stage by age group for final audience voting. In the event that one of the top 4 finalists are not near the stage area when called and/or do not go on stage for voting, an alternative entry may be selected. 

First place for each category wins a 4-pack of tickets to any Stang Productions event valid for the next 12 months, age restrictions permitting.
